Popular Punjabi singer Satinder Sartaaj has made the country proud again. After receiving the honour from the Australian government for being the first turbaned singer to perform live at Opera House in Sydney, the ‘Udaarian’ fame singer has now become the first Indian singer to receive an honour in New Zealand Parliament.

Satinder Sartaaj took to his official social media handle to share the news with his fans. He has shared a video and a few pictures from the event. He captioned the post as: “Privileged being 1st from our soil getting Prestige from the #Parliament of #NewZealandin #Wellington @nzparliament Thankful to @simonjbridges @bakshiks & my entire community around the globe #Sartaaj.” 


Earlier, the singer has received a certificate of appreciation for his contribution in the field of music from the Parliament of Victoria. 


Sartaaj is popular for creating popular songs like ‘Udariaan’, Masoomiat’, ‘Main Te Meri Jaan’ and few others.
